Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Dallas, TX is seeking a Quality Engineer for the PrSM Program Quality Engineering Team. You will oversee quality processes, coordinate cross-functional teams, and support hybrid on-site/remote operations in a production environment for the PrSM missile program.

The role emphasizes investigations, inspection planning at LM sites and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO9001. U.S. citizen able to obtain Secret clearance; travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• 2 years of professional experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, or a closely-related discipline.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related STEM field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection methods including First-Article Inspections to AS9102.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations to resolve transition to production issues.
• Develop and implement inspection plans at LM sites and suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
• Support travel to production sites and suppliers as needed.
• Maintain documentation and reporting for quality metrics.
• Engage in product failure investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
