CIRCOR Pumps North America, LLC in Monroe, NC is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and improve quality plans, lead corrective and preventive actions, and respond to customer escapes and SCARs while supporting internal and external audits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of quality engineering experience.
• ASQ certification (or equivalent) preferred.

• Drive continuous improvement through utilization of CIRCOR Operating System (COS) tools
• Develop, create, edit and implement special process and quality system procedures
• Assist with internal and external 3rd party and customer audits

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• - Interpret ASTM, Military, DFARS and FAR specifications, drawings, including knowledge of GD&T
• - Working experience with writing quality procedures
• - Problem Solving: Solves problems using systematic analysis processes and industry-standard methodologies
• - Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and applications
• - Quality Process Management: Applies quality tools and methods (e.g., APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Capability studies, Process Audit, inspection, test)
• - Measurement Science: Analyzes measurement processes throughout the traceability chain to identify and quantify sources of measurement uncertainty.
• - Experience with standards such as AS9100, ISO14001, ISO9001
• - Must be able to meet tight deadlines, be detail oriented and highly organized.
• - Ability to collaborate across business functions to achieve results

Education & Experience

• - Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, or a technical field required or relevant combination of education and direct experience.
• - Requires 2-5 years of experience in quality engineering, including understanding of quality concepts and principles.
• - ASQ certification (or equivalent) preferred
