Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a Quality Engineer responsible for ensuring customer requirements are planned and implemented throughout purchasing, inspection, and launch phases. You will partner with Programs, Operations, and Engineering to drive quality improvements and process validation using robust problem-solving tools.

The role requires a BS in Engineering with 5+ years of quality experience, familiarity with lean six sigma tools, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with at least 5 years of quality experience.
• Experience in lean six sigma manufacturing environments.
• Proficient with FMEA, Fishbone, 5 Why, 8D, Value Stream Map, Process Flow, A3, etc.
• Strong problem-solving, statistical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer requirements are planned and implemented during purchasing, inspection, and product launches.
• Collaborate with Programs, Operations and Engineering to identify and solve quality issues.
• Lead continuous improvement using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Identify trends affecting quality and drive timely, sustainable improvements.
• Apply CAR/CAPA processes and verify effectiveness after implementation.
• Participate in APQP and new product introductions to assure launch success.
