Job summary

Rockford Fosgate in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the QEMS and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry requirements. You will manage quality documentation, handling of customer complaints, corrective actions, PPAP submissions, internal audits, and supplier quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field, preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support QEMS compliance and quality requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures and forms.
• Control and maintain quality records and documentation.
• Participate in internal audits and audit preparation.
• Monitor quality metrics and report performance trends.
• Coordinate customer PPAP requirements and submissions.
• Prepare and review PPAP packages per AIAG guidelines.
• Ensure PPAP elements are complete and approved before production release.
• Review engineering changes and determine PPAP submission needs.
• Interface with customers, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers on PPAP approvals.
• Lead root cause analysis and manage NCRs/CARs.
• Facilitate corrective action investigations and closure.
• Verify corrective actions and maintain corrective action data.
• Track supplier quality performance and audits.
