Job summary

Judge Direct Placement seeks a Quality Assurance professional to lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of QA processes. The role focuses on using data analysis to understand reporting metrics and to drive process enhancements across projects.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality control, the ability to read plans and specifications, and excellent organizational and communication skills to work independently or within a project team.

Job description

This candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality assurance processes. Throughout the implementation and maintenance process, this candidate should use data analysis to better understand quality reporting measures and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and best practices
• AWS D1.1 certification, certified welding Inspector, preferably but not mandatory.
• NACE certification (Level II or III), preferably but not mandatory.
• Rotating equipment knowledge, preferable but not mandatory.
• Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering, construction and inspection.
• Computer literate -proficiency with MS Office, Email, PDF, document management software (e.g. Adept).
• Great attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and highly organized.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Have a positive self-starting and proactive approach, with the ability to identify potential quality issues before they arise and implement effective preventative measures.
• Ability to work independently and collectively within a project team (site or office)
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Proficient with dimensional inspections.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development, with a willingness to stay up to date with the latest quality control, certifications and assurance principles and practices
