Job summary

Curbell is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to participate in internal and external quality audits and support supplier qualification and corrective actions. The role promotes ISO 9001 across our distribution and manufacturing sites and interfaces with supplier and customer quality representatives to ensure effective corrective actions.

Responsibilities include supporting work instructions, gage studies, test plans, calibration, and providing administrative and compliance support.

Qualifications

• Experience in a distribution or manufacturing setting.
• Experience as an internal auditor and ISO9001.
• Plastics manufacturing or distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Support supplier qualification and maintenance activities (NCRs, customer complaints, supplier corrective actions).
• Promote and support Curbell’s ISO certified Quality Management System across branches.
• Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives on quality issues and ensure corrective actions.
• Support work instructions, gage studies, test plans and calibration; provide admin and compliance support.
• Facilitate problem solving teams and prepare corrective action communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Support all supplier qualification and maintenance activities as it pertains to Quality, such as Curbell’s supplier approval process, generating NCR’s, Customer Complaint resolution, and Supplier Corrective Actions.
• Support and promote Curbell’s ISO certified Quality Management System at all branch locations. Continue to develop compliant branches and help them achieve ISO certification as business needs are determined.
• Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective action is implemented.
• Support organization with appropriate work instructions, gage studies, test plans and calibration. Provide additional administrative and compliance related support.
• Facilitate problem solving teams and respond to customer discrepancy notices. Verify corrective actions and prepare problem solving customer correspondence related to quality concerns or issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
