Job summary

Randstad USA in McKenzie, Tennessee seeks a Quality Engineer to drive operational efficiency, maintain QMS/IATF compliance, and lead shop-floor teams. You will serve as the primary customer quality contact, run root-cause failure analyses (8D, DMAIC), and execute plant improvement projects.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Engineering and 3+ years of manufacturing experience. Relocation assistance provided. Location: McKenzie, TN; salary range: $80,000 - 110,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting waste reduction, process variation, and productivity gains using quality tools.
• Serve as the main technical point of contact for customer quality inquiries and lead root-cause investigations (8D, 5 Why, CAPA).
• Provide hands-on technical support to eliminate bottlenecks, enforce safety, and meet throughput targets.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendors to design studies and execute plant trials.
