Socket.dev seeks a Quality Planning Lead to ensure up-to-date quality plans for new products, process changes, and revisions. You will develop customer-facing quality documentation with Excel-based tools, train production teams, and coordinate inspection plans to support data collection.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and a Six Sigma Green Belt or similar experience, with strong communication skills to liaise with customers and suppliers. Supervisory responsibilities are included.
Ensure accurate and current quality plans are in place for all applicable jobs, including new product introductions, process or revision changes, and other planning updates. Support effective execution by communicating customer and process requirements, resolving issues, training production and inspection teams, and developing customer-facing quality documentation using Excel-based tools and macros.

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline and/or at least five years experience in a related field. Six Sigma Green-Belt or other process improvement experience is a plus.
This position will directly supervise Quality Documentation Team and Quality Engineering - Planning Team.
May be required to train and assist other employees.
