Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is recruiting a Quality Engineer in Plainwell, MI to develop and implement quality control procedures, perform audits, and drive improvements across manufacturing processes.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Quality, 3+ years of quality engineering experience, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100/IATF 16949, SPC, and CAPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Strong understanding and application of SPC and other quality tools (FMEA, MSA, RCA).
• Experience with CAPA processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Perform product and process audits to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other ASQ certifications.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and process improvement.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management standards.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, assembly).
