Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role supports failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lean/ Six Sigma deployment plans within the plant.

The ideal candidate has SMT/QA background, 2–4 years of experience, and solid PC skills. You will work with the customer focus team to resolve quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement, including FMEA and DOE

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science with SMT, QC procedures and quality tools such as FMEA and DOE.
• 2-4 years of related experience as a Quality Engineer.
• Six Sigma and/or Lean-Kaizen experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Personable, must interface well with customers.
• PCB and Contract Manufacturing Experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, revises, and applies QA protocols to inspect materials, equipment, and finished products.
• Ensures compliance with company QA standards and gov't regulations.
• Analyzes trends and recommends corrective actions.
• Follows SPC procedures for inspection and sampling.
• Ensures compliance to GMP/ISO standards and maintains records.
