Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality across multiple product lines within our manufacturing facility in the United States.

The role emphasizes auditing processes, implementing QA/QC procedures, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor. The candidate will collaborate with plant engineers and line technicians, focusing on building quality into production and maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 4‑year technical degree in electrical, electronics, or mechanical field.
• Hands-on product exposure and hands-on work preferred.
• Electrical skills and experience required.
• AutoCAD or similar software is a must.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Quality Manager to develop and implement QA and QC procedures.
• 95% of the work day spent on the manufacturing floor applying quality solutions.
• Accept total responsibility for product quality, including procured and in-house parts, assembly process, testing, and packaging.
• Maintain a continuous improvement mentality with Kaizen focus.
• Perform quality audits, admin inspections, and support staff with QA questions.
• Organize and present audit findings to obtain deliverables and corrective actions.
• Review manufacturing and quality instructions to identify build quality improvements.
• Work with Quality Manager to manage QMS for third party audits.
• Report directly to the Quality Manager for your facility.
