Job summary
Anduril Industries in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Product Quality Engineer to define, develop, and execute processes that deliver high quality products and programs. The role emphasizes collaboration with design teams to meet quality requirements early and to evaluate product health and performance.
The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing, product development, test performance criteria, metrology, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
- Experience with missile-grade or high-velocity vehicle systems preferred.
- Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements such as MSA and GD&T.
- Experience in data mining, data quality, and statistical analysis tools.
- Ability to lead RCCA, MRB, and process performance reviews.
- Experience with reliability engineering and customer-facing teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive product quality plans across development cycles.
- Lead inspection, test performance management, and PPAP-related activities.
- Resolve production ambiguities related to product maturity and field performance.
- Own the elimination of product risk to improve reliability.
- Develop metrics to monitor quality and identify predictors of quality.
- Guide the transition from engineering qualification to manufacturing testing.
- Coordinate supplier quality engineers supporting design and production.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems (APQP, QMS).
