Job summary

Oerlikon Group is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer in North Carolina to support technical contract reviews, inspect plans, and metrology activities. You will interpret customer requirements, prepare data packages, and drive risk assessments across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4+ years in a quality engineering role in manufacturing/production.
• Experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001:2015 implementations.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings and CAD files for quality requirements.
• Prepare quality inspection plans including bubbled drawings.
• Operate/program inspection equipment (CMM / GOM).
• Prepare technical data packages.
• Communicate quality topics with customers.
• Facilitate process/product risk assessments.
• Perform root cause/corrective action analysis.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Manage non-conformances.
