Job summary

IFABCORP is seeking a Quality Engineer for metal fabrication and manufacturing to lead process inspections, root cause analysis, and CAPA efforts. You will ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 across stamping, welding, laser cutting, coating, CNC machining, and assembly.

The role includes collaborating with Production and Engineering teams to embed quality in design and manufacturing, and driving continuous improvement initiatives through Lean/Six Sigma approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 3+ years of quality engineering in metal fabrication.
• Experience reading blueprints and operating inspection tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality control processes across metal stamping, welding, laser cutting, e-coat/powder coating, CNC machining, and assembly.
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPA programs.
• Support internal audits and monitor key metrics (PPM, scrap, rework).
• Create PPAPs, FMEAs, Control Plans, and work instructions.
• Participate in NPI quality activities to ensure flawless launches.
