Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Quality Manager to lead all quality systems, process improvement initiatives, and customer quality activities within our manufacturing operation. This role will serve as the company lead for IATF and ISO compliance, driving process implementation, continuous improvement, and audit readiness across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing quality systems, customer responsiveness, root cause analysis, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and certifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the company\'s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO standards
  • Serve as the primary lead for all internal, external, and customer audits
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality processes, procedures, and documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, ensuring timely and professional responsiveness
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, and PFMEA
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics, KPIs, scrap, and non-conformance trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality standards are met
  • Ensure compliance with all customer-specific requirements and regulatory standards
  • Train and mentor employees on quality systems, procedures, and best practices
  • Manage supplier quality performance and support supplier corrective action activities as needed
  • Maintain audit readiness and ensure timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Quality Management experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO quality standards
  • Experience leading internal and external audits
  • Proven experience with process implementation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
  • Ability to analyze data and drive measurable improvements
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
Preferred Skills
  • Certified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
