Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Quality Engineer for a medical device manufacturer in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. The role focuses on ensuring product quality, process capability, and regulatory compliance in a highly controlled manufacturing environment.

You will develop and maintain quality systems, lead CAPA and MRB activities, and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting internal and external customers and using precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support quality activities across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans for new and existing products.
• Lead CAPA and MRB activities and participate in NMPR reviews.
• Develop and maintain PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Conduct process capability and statistical analysis.
• Develop and maintain SPC programs and perform Gage R&R.
• Evaluate inspection methods and quality procedures.
• Train employees on quality procedures and inspection standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to standardize inspection processes.
