Job summary

Forest Recruiting Group is seeking a Quality Engineer for a medical device manufacturer in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The role focuses on quality systems, process capability, and regulatory compliance to sustain high product quality in a controlled environment.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of quality engineering experience, hands-on with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and CAPA, plus collaboration with suppliers and customers. Relocation support may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 3 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Support quality activities across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans for products.
• Lead CAPA, MRB, and New Product Release Reviews.
• Develop PFMEA, Control Plans and SPC programs.
• Perform Gage R&R and Measurement System Analysis.
• Conduct supplier quality activities and audits.
• Train employees on quality procedures and inspection standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to standardize processes.
