Job summary

Pro QC International seeks inspectors with 3-5 years of experience in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or quality roles to support customer projects on-site in Texas. The role emphasizes SAE AMS7100 / AS9102 compliance and precise inspection documentation.

The contractor will read drawings, perform dimensional/visual inspections with precision tools, meet QC00004 procedures, and travel to Austin-area sites as needed. 1099 contract with project duration TBD.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years preferred in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Quality Engineering or equivalent inspection experience.
• Experience or certification in SAE AMS7100 / AS9102.
• Review and comply with customer-specific requirements flowed down through the drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer/engineering drawings.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Use hand tools and measurement instruments accurately.
• Perform inspections in accordance with SAE AMS7100 and the client's internal QC00004 procedure.
• Review and comply with customer-specific requirements flowed down through the drawings.
• Complete inspection documentation in accordance with AS9102 and QC00004 requirements.
• Scan and upload all inspection evidence/documentation to the designated job folder.
• Complete the required QC00004 training and sign the training form before performing inspections.
