Job summary

Pro QC International North America is seeking a contractor in the Austin, TX area for a 1099 role focused on quality inspections and compliance. You will read drawings, perform dimensional and visual inspections with precision tools, and ensure documentation meets AMS7100/AS9102 and QC00004 standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of related engineering experience, with travel to Austin and nearby areas. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but scheduling may vary by site needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years preferred in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Quality Engineering or equivalent inspection experience
• SAE AMS7100 / AS9102 experience or certification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer/engineering drawings.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Use hand tools and measurement instruments accurately.
• Inspect in accordance with SAE AMS7100 and QC00004 procedures.
• Review customer-specific requirements from drawings.
• Document inspections per AS9102 and QC00004.
• Scan and upload inspection evidence to the job folder.
• Complete QC00004 training and sign the training form before inspections.
