Job summary

Pro QC International is seeking a contractor to perform in-process and final inspections for aerospace and related quality-controlled environments in the Austin area. You will read and interpret customer drawings, perform dimensional and visual inspections, and document results per AS9102 and QC00004.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant inspection experience and familiarity with SAE AMS7100/AS9102 standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years preferred in engineering or equivalent inspection experience.
• Familiarity with SAE AMS7100 and AS9102 standards.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to perform dimensional and visual inspections.

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Use hand tools and measurement instruments accurately.
• Perform inspections per SAE AMS7100 and QC00004.
• Review customer-specific requirements from drawings.

• Scan and upload inspection evidence to job folder.
• Complete required QC00004 training and sign the form before inspecting.

Job description

Required Experience:

• 3–5 years preferred in Mechanical Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Industrial Engineer / Quality Engineer, or equivalent inspection experience

Technical Qualifications:

• SAE AMS7100 / AS9102 (Experience and/or certification)

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret customer/engineering drawings.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Use hand tools and measurement instruments accurately.
• Perform inspections in accordance with SAE AMS7100 and the client's internal QC00004 procedure.
• Review and comply with customer-specific requirements flowed down through the drawings.
• Complete inspection documentation in accordance with AS9102 and QC00004 requirements.
• Scan and upload all inspection evidence/documentation to the designated job folder.
• Complete the required QC00004 training and sign the training form before performing inspections.
