Malibu Boats is seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality functions and lead Process Auditor supervision. You will drive continuous improvement across manufacturing steps for marine seat and cover assemblies, develop PPAP packages, and communicate with customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related) or Business (with strong technical focus)
  • 8+ years related experience in quality/manufacturing
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role

Responsibilities

  • Lead plant-level quality activities to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.
  • Analyze and facilitate efforts to reduce internal Scrap and Rework.
  • Develop and maintain control plans, work instructions, inspection standards, and quality documentation.
  • Lead root cause investigations using structured methodologies (8D, A3, 5 Whys, Fishbone).
  • Support containment actions to protect customers and production flow.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to resolve quality issues.
