Job summary
Trystar Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer for 1st shift at our Faribault, MN facility. You will drive quality improvements, assist with process capability, and lead corrective actions to ensure premier product quality.
You will collaborate with site leadership to implement quality procedures, engage in release cycles, and uphold ISO 9001:2015 standards while maintaining FPY and OTD targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 3+ years in ISO 9001 manufacturing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods, fixtures, gaging, metrology.
- Ability to read schematics/ladder diagrams.
- Familiarity with electrical terminology and standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide manufacturing quality support to improve FPY and OTD.
- Analyze returned materials and warranty data for RMA decisions.
- Advise on process capability, defect detection, prevention.
- Develop quality procedures, specs, and metrics to exceed requirements.
- Support product release cycles for manufacturability and controls.
- Lead cross-functional CAPA and 8D/5 Whys problem solving.
- Mitigate risk with cross-functional teams.
- Assist with process improvement and compliance initiatives.
- Participate in CI projects to reduce scrap and rework.
- Coordinate ISO 9001:2015 QMS updates.
