Job summary

John Deere is seeking a Quality Engineer to support Tractor Cab Assembly Operations in Waterloo, IA. You will improve manufacturing performance by investigating defects, leading improvement initiatives, and ensuring change controls for current and new products.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology, experience with FMEA, SPC, RCA, and familiarity with SAP, data analytics tools, and production systems. Onsite work in Waterloo, IA with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent related work experience.
Experience in quality engineering or manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methods (FMEA, SPC, RCA).

Responsibilities

Provide tactical line support for production and investigate defects for root cause and corrective action.
Support introduction of new products and change control processes.
Analyze data streams and assembly control plans to improve quality performance.
Collaborate with supplier quality on issues and drive corrective actions.
Support quality planning activities and external ISO audits.
