Job summary

John Deere in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support transmission assembly operations, drive safety, quality and continuous improvement, and deploy new technologies aligned with the Smart Connected Factory strategy.

You will collaborate across teams, contribute to design changes, and work in a high-volume manufacturing environment with competitive pay and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing role supporting production operations.
• Experience developing and deploying operator work instructions.
• Experience with process development, tooling design, fixturing, and workstation layout.
• Experience with BOMs, build documentation, and ECN processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing engineering support for transmission assembly operations.
• Lead safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
