Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Monroe, LA seeks a Quality Engineer to strengthen quality performance on the shop floor and drive sustainable improvements across the plant.

You will lead root-cause analysis, manage internal/external audits, and partner with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to prevent defects and meet customer requirements. This hands-on role offers growth with a global leader focused on quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing quality or related role.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience with ISO 9001; internal audits and compliance.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of customer complaints and warranty issues using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, PFMEA).
• Support and improve the site's Quality Management System to ISO 9001 standards.
• Conduct internal process audits and drive timely resolution of findings.
• Analyze quality and production data to identify trends and reduce defects.
• Develop and maintain quality planning documents (PPAPs, PFMEAs, MSA, Control Plans, CAPA).
• Support process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) where applicable.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to implement process controls and meet customer requirements.
• Provide training and promote continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen).
