Prysmian Group is seeking a Quality Engineer to build and maintain robust quality systems, ensuring UL/ETL/CSA compliance and data-driven improvements. You will lead testing, audits, CAPA, and supplier collaborations in a manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes statistical analysis, process capability, and continuous improvement to deliver safe, reliable cable systems worldwide. Bachelor’s degree required with 3+ years in manufacturing quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience and certification a plus.
• Quality system auditing experience is a plus.
• ASQ Certification in Quality Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain quality systems that achieve site quality objectives.
• Maintain compliance documentation for UL, ETL, CSA, and other external bodies.
• Evaluate process capability and sampling plans; adjust strategies and communicate quality metrics.
• Lead associates in required testing and quality data reporting.
• Use statistical analysis to evaluate trends; lead corrective actions.
• Investigate, assess, and report customer-returned product.
• Lead corrective actions; host customer visits (onsite/offsite).
• Develop/qualify inspection, measuring, and test equipment (MSA); engage suppliers for audits, certifications, and purchased material concerns.
• Lead activities that enable new processes and new business.
• Serve as an internal auditor for the NA QMS.
• Partner with the laboratory team as needed.
