Job Summary: The QualityEngineerLevel 2is responsible forexecuting and managing manufacturing quality activities, including inspection planning, production quality monitoring, and data analysis. This role works with minimal supervision to ensure products and processes meet customer requirements and established quality standards. The position independentlyidentifiesquality issues, performs root cause analysis, and drives corrective actions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

The Quality departmentis responsible forensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, fromNew Product Introduction (NPI)toMass Production (MP)support. The team monitors manufacturing performance, analyzes test data, drives yield improvement, and ensures compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. It works closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers toidentifyrisks, resolve quality issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Independently develop, implement, andmaintaininspection plans based on customer requirements, testing scripts, and internal quality standards
• Analyze NPIdocumentation to define inspection points,requiredtools, and quality control requirements, and make recommendations for improvements
• Monitor production quality data,identifytrends and recurring issues, and proactively propose solutions to prevent future defects
• Perform root cause analysis for production failures and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, with minimal supervision
• Proactively collaborate with Test Engineering and Process Engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing yield and process efficiency
• Ensure manufacturing processescomply withdefined quality requirements, elevate deviations when necessary, and propose process adjustments
• Prepare, interpret, and present qualityreports, including daily metrics and trend analyses, to internal stakeholders and management
• Investigate line rejectionsandverify defectcomponents (LRR/VLRR), and document findings for further analysis
• Plan and execute customer-requested inspections, ensuring results areaccurate,timely, and properly documented
• Coordinate with suppliers to address material-related quality issues, drive issue resolution, and follow up on corrective actions
• Maintain comprehensive quality records and ensure documentation supports audits and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills/Abilities

• Solid understanding of quality principles and manufacturing processes
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently interpret data andidentifytrends

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree inQuality,Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering fieldisrequired
• 2-6years of experience in a related field.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
