Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Quality Engineer to coordinate quality assurance across the Quality Management System in Potsville, PA. The role focuses on reducing waste, improving product/process quality, and leading lean initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities include root cause investigations, process validation, and collaboration with customers and value streams. Requires a technical degree, 2+ years in quality/production, and knowledge of GD&T and SPC/SQC/DOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a technical field is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in production or quality.
• Strong leadership and ability to work with engineering, production and management.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SPC, SQC, DOE and GD&T.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO and NADCAP preferred.
• Six Sigma knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality assurance activities within the Quality Management System.
• Lead root cause investigations for product and process defects.
• Support new product introduction and process validation.
• Coordinate lab testing for verification/validation of raw materials.
• Participate in quality system improvements and cost/trend analysis.
• Drive lean initiatives and training (6S, TPM, Kaizen, Kanban).
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
