Genesis Products LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead quality activities within the operations team. The role focuses on reducing cost of quality through waste reduction and improving customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 3-7 years of quality or engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. This is a full-time, on-site position in Indiana.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of quality or engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and willingness to be flexible with time and schedule.
  • Communicate professionally and listens well.
  • Ability to analyze and apply complex information.
  • Lead teams to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead problem solving activities to address production deficiencies.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities (VSM, VA/VE, waste reduction).
  • Establish quality standards and communicate them to teams.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers on quality concerns and improvements.
  • Prepare and maintain PPAPs, Control Plans, Flow Charts, Standard Work Sheets, gage studies, SPC charts.
  • Ensure safe, compliant operations and adherence to procedures.
  • Attend meetings and contribute meaningful input.
  • Comply with all quality policies, regulations, and instructions.
  • Provide feedback for process improvement and training of associates.
  • Be the quality subject matter expert and train associates.
