Job summary

Lindsay Corporation in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a Quality Engineer to develop and sustain quality processes and lead ISO 9001 activities at the plant. You will support APQP/PPAP, CPAR, PFMEA and CP development, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing teams.

The role requires 1–3+ years in quality, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication. Travel is minimal and leadership skills are essential to partner with production and supplier teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
• 1-3+ years in Quality role in high-volume production environment.
• Experience in Electrical and/or Electro-mechanical components manufacturing (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, GD&T).
• Lead or support CPAR systems and PFMEA development.
• Proven problem-solving, leadership and communication skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, implement and sustain quality processes and systems for Lindsay plant.
• Support ISO9001 system implementation and maintenance; standard work methodology at manufacturing site.
• Participate in APQP activities and support supplier quality and production teams.
• Provide guidance on PFMEA and CP development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate problem-solving methods (DMAIC, 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) and drive corrective actions.
• Interact with process teams to deploy quality tools and drive cost reductions through better quality.
