Job summary

Nutrien is seeking an Engineer, Quality in Biola, CA to lead quality management initiatives across proprietary products manufacturing facilities. You will develop QMS elements referencing ISO 9001, perform audits, identify gaps, and drive CAPAs to improve quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or chemistry and 3+ years in industrial processing; experience with TapRooT and data-driven problem solving is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or equivalent background and experience; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 3+ years in an industrial processing environment required, with background and/or knowledge of chemical processing fundamentals
• Experience with Quality Management Systems preferred, ISO9001 experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop QMS elements, policies, and ISO 9001-aligned procedures.
• Audit the QMS, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead initiatives to improve quality and reduce nonconformances.
• Inspect processes and equipment to meet quality specifications.
• Provide training and mentor engineers on manufacturing quality
