Sonance in Minden, NV is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure products and processes meet quality standards and ISO 9001 compliance. You will drive defect reduction and partner with Engineering, Production, and Operations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years in quality or process engineering in manufacturing; six sigma knowledge and ERP experience (SAP/Plex/Epicor) are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Technology, or related field; 3+ years of quality or process engineering in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality systems, process control, and CI methodologies; experience with FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, CAPA, auditing.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and maintain a QMS compliant with ISO 9001 standards.
• Lead Six Sigma, DMAIC, and root cause analysis initiatives.
• Identify COPQ and drive corrective actions across manufacturing processes (assembly, painting, fabrication).
• Conduct FAI, process capability studies, and Gage R&R as needed.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to ensure product/process conformance.
• Train and mentor employees on quality tools and continuous improvement.
