Job summary

The Toro Company invites applications for a Quality Engineer Intern position at its Perry, Oklahoma facility. This summer program runs May 17, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with start dates aligned to the stated program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Desire to learn new skills and keep up with new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to build relationships and work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support and comply with the facilities safety guidelines.
• Support Manufacturing and Lean operations in problem solving activities.
• Analyze data to determine trends in recurring issues in the manufacturing process and assembly functions.
• Analyze warranty data to determine customer satisfaction trends across similar products.
• Coordinate with a cross-functional team to resolve product nonconformance.
• Conduct audits on previous corrective actions to determine effectiveness.
• Assist with New Product Development on continuous improvement projects.
• Evaluate end-of-line and in-process testing and inspection processes.
• Identify and document product and/or process risks.
