Job summary

The Toro Company (TTC) invites motivated students to join its Summer Internship Program in Perry, Oklahoma. The program runs May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027, with a May 17 start date. Interns will support safety, lean operations, data analysis, and cross-functional project work across manufacturing processes.

Qualified candidates are pursuing mechanical/industrial engineering, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and are eager to learn new technologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Desire to learn new skills and maintain knowledge of new technologies.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Relationship building, collaboration, working on cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support and Comply with the facilities safety guidelines.
• Support Manufacturing and Lean operations in problem solving activities.
• Analyze data to determine trends in reoccurring issues in the manufacturing process and assembly functions.
• Analyze warranty data to determine customer satisfaction trends across similar products.
• Coordinate with a cross-functional team to resolve product nonconformance.
• Conduct audits on previous corrective actions to determine effectiveness.
• Assist with New Product Development on continuous improvement projects.
• Evaluate end-of-line and in-process testing and inspection processes.
• Identifying and Documenting product and/or process risks.

The 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Candidates must be available to start on May 17 and participate through the duration of the program.

What Will You Do?
