Job summary

Textron Systems is offering a 2027 Internship as a Quality Engineer (Electronic Systems) in Hunt Valley, MD. You will participate in quality planning, FAI development, and data analysis to support receiving, assembly and testing processes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and applications.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Effective written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality planning activities including development of First Article Inspection (FAI) plans.
• Participate in process improvement activities through monitoring, root cause investigations, data analysis.
• Support Quality processes in receiving, receiving inspection, assembly, test and shipping areas.
• Analyze production results/inspection data and present findings to the team.
• Prepare reports on and present to factory managers, data related to Quality priorities, nonconformances, focus areas, and key issues.
• Track and report on key Quality Engineering activities to ensure proper and timely execution, work with team to improve performance.
• Interface with internal organizations and systems in performance of the assigned Quality Engineering functions.
