Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional for industrial electromechanical equipment in Fremont, CA. You will develop and implement QA processes to ensure products meet stringent specifications during development and production.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform risk assessments, and drive preventive actions and continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methods. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering; 5+ years QA/QC in industrial manufacturing of complex electromechanical equipment (thermal or cooling)
• Fluent in Mandarin; able to travel overseas
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing; ASQ certification or Six Sigma belt beneficial

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA processes to ensure products meet specifications during development
• Provide assistance for failure analysis from RMAs or client issues
• Collaborate with development, production, suppliers to establish standards, processes, and guidelines for quality
• Conduct risk assessments and process audits to identify potential quality issues early in the lifecycle
• Implement preventive measures and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to minimize defects
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify quality issues during or after production
• Develop and maintain QC checklists, test plans, and inspection procedures for materials, components, and finished products
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications

• 5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance/ Quality Control of industrial manufacturing of complex electromechanical equipment (Thermal or Cooling equipment )
• Fluent in Mandarin, able to travel overseas
• Strong knowledge of quality standards - ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Certification in quality assurance - ASQ, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt
• Strong familiarity with FMEA, SPC, UL certification, IEC 60950, 62368
• Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills

• Provide assistance for FA from RMA or address issues raised by clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, production, suppliers) to establish standards, processes, and guidelines that promote quality.
• Conduct risk assessments and process audits to identify potential quality issues early in the production lifecycle.
• Implement preventive measures and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to minimize defects and enhance product quality.
