Job summary

Frontgrade Technologies is seeking a Quality Engineer III to lead risk analyses, control plans, inspections, supplier quality, and metrology methodology. The role ensures customer and regulatory requirements are met and supports continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma.

The candidate will work on nonconforming material processes, data analysis, and supplier performance metrics while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
• Or nine (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Or three (3) years of experience may be considered with a Master’s Degree.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Learn manufacturing processes and participate in continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost using Lean/Six Sigma.
• Support nonconforming material process with MRB activities and disposition tracking.
• Collect and analyze quality data and prepare reports for leadership and reviews with customers.
