Qualifications

• 2–5 years of manufacturing/quality experience; electrical engineering background preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM equivalent.
• Quality training such as CQE, Six Sigma, IPC-A-620, ISO 9001/AS9100 auditor or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, apply, implement and maintain quality requirements and processes for development, manufacturing and purchased products.
• Serve as primary QA resource to supervisors for problem identification, resolution and continuous improvement.
• Support concurrent engineering by participating in design projects representing QA and customer.
• Design and implement methods for process control, testing and inspection; verify materials and finished products.
• Promote quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans and reports.
• Lead preventive/corrective actions; participate in new product launches and process changes.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and procurement to improve quality and productivity.
• Maintain and improve quality system certification and objectives; present reports to management.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits; interface with supplier and customer quality reps.
• Limited travel within North America.
