Job summary

Skills in data analytics and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification are preferred. The job involves domestic and international travel. Qualifications
Strong knowledge on Quality Problem-Solving Tools and Statistics.
Familiar with product reliability testing.
Experience in motor assembly and manufacturing.
Willing to travel, U.S. domestic and international.
Able to work with global cross-functional teams.
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform failure analyses of motors returned to St. Louis and drive corrective actions with Nidec plants.
Conduct customer on-site visits to review Quality issues and drive improvement actions.
Host periodic meetings with customers to review Quality metrics.
Utilize problem-solving tools such as 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto.
Perform data analytics, reporting, and management presentations.
Respond to customers' corrective action (SCAR/8D) requests.
Work with Nidec St. Louis Engineers to support new product developments.
Skills
Strong oral and written English language communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Data analytics using MS Excel or Minitab
Education
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
