Job summary

Amphenol Printed Circuit Board Technology in Nashua, NH is seeking a Quality Engineer I to help plan, coordinate, and implement process controls that ensure quality across all operations. A two-year degree or equivalent is required; familiarity with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 is preferred, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or two-to-three-year related experience.
• Experience in PC Assembly with familiarity to J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Data management proficiency and understanding of PCB industry standards.
• Knowledge of process control techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement process controls to ensure quality at all levels.
• Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance, Quoting, Customers and Suppliers on quality issues.
• Review engineering docs, specs, test procedures for QA compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis, coordinate corrective actions, and track effectiveness.
• Lead corrective actions with cross-functional teams and drive improvements using SPC data.
• Coordinate Material Review Board activities and audit programs.
• Support internal/external quality audits and education on QA policies.
