Job summary

Lozier Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer II to ensure the highest quality standards for products and processes. You will apply quality engineering principles to identify issues, drive continuous improvement, and support a robust Quality Management System across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include inspections, audits, QC data analysis, and collaboration to resolve issues. A manufacturing/quality background and experience with ISO 9001 are preferred to help maintain Lozier’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field preferred
• 5+ years in engineering; 9+ years if non-degreed; manufacturing/quality experience preferred
• Ability to read engineering drawings/specifications
• Proficiency with quality tools for problem solving and improvement
• Knowledge of IATF/AS/ISO quality management systems
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Champion Lozier’s mission, vision, and core values
• Ensure FAI processes are completed and compliant for new products or changes
• Monitor special characteristics and ensure compliance with requirements
• Lead internal and customer audits and track corrective actions
• Develop and drive improvement initiatives and report performance metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues using structured problem solving
• Maintain quality verification processes and implement QMS documentation in line with corporate requirements
• Lead CI projects focused on process, performance, and product quality
• Participate in design reviews of new and revised products
• Guide process design and risk mitigation with controls and gauges
• Provide quality/training on CI topics to associates
• Monitor customer satisfaction data to drive CI and standardization
• Improve disruption and corrective actions processes and data accuracy
• Support field and other internal customer-facing functions as needed
