Job summary

Lozier Corporation seeks a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to oversee welding quality and training in a manufacturing setting. The role centers on establishing and improving welding standards, qualification processes, inspection practices, and workforce development across welding operations.

The ideal candidate partners with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Production to develop welding procedures, troubleshoot issues, and reduce defects while promoting quality, safety, and operational

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in engineering preferred.
Minimum years of experience in engineering or related field; manufacturing/quality experience highly preferred.
Experience with welding quality, inspection, and training programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

Oversee welding quality and training programs across manual and robotic welding.
Develop and deliver welder training and certification programs.
Ensure compliance with codes and company standards and drive continuous improvement.
Lead internal and supplier audits and manage corrective actions.
