Job summary

Lozier Corporation is hiring a Quality Engineer II (CWI certified) in Omaha, NE. You will oversee welding quality programs, develop procedures, and drive continuous improvement across manual and robotic welding operations.

The role requires collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Production teams to reduce defects, improve processes, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Monday–Friday onsite, with strong emphasis on training and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering experience; 9+ years if no degree.
• Experience in manufacturing quality control/QA is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives to improve product and process quality.
• Oversee First Article Inspection (FAI) for new products or changes.
• Audit internal processes and customers, closing corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS processes aligned with ISO 9001:2015.
• Mentor operators in welding and inspection practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive CI.
