Job summary

Teleflex is seeking a Quality Engineer 1 to join our Product Quality Assurance team. The role analyzes post-market data and investigates quality issues for commercial devices under supervision, applying root cause investigation, risk management, and QMS principles.

Responsibilities include managing nonconformances, supporting regulatory inspections, and communicating findings to leadership while collaborating with manufacturing, R&D, and suppliers. 15% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 0-2 years related (medical device preferred) experience.

Responsibilities

• Create, investigate and/or manage nonconformances and associated ship holds.
• Investigate and report information for executive assessment of field actions or removals.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Suppliers, QA, Marketing, Design Assurance and Regulatory to document quality issues.
• Assist with compilation and analysis of product quality metrics for leadership.
