Job summary

Us Tech Solutions in Waterloo, IA seeks a quality/manufacturing engineer to provide production support, lead quality planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will report KPI data to stakeholders and work with internal/external teams to implement corrective actions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 1+ year in quality/manufacturing, and hands-on experience with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, RCA). Proficiency with Power BI and data analysis is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality/manufacturing engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, RCA) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis of information and methods to design and improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop feasibility testing for proposed engineering solutions with data feedback.
• Draft engineering standards and evaluate effectiveness of those standards.
• Inspect installations and provide recommendations to ensure conformance.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers within contract management plan.
• Identify process shortcomings and drive corrective actions.
