Job summary

HLBMA LLC seeks an entry-level Quality Engineer I to support quality assurance across incoming, in-process, and outgoing products. The role involves inspections, data analysis, and procedure documentation to improve manufacturing yield and reliability.

Under supervision, you will learn to apply IATF16949-related practices, use Minitab for analysis, and contribute to non-conforming issue resolution while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering is typical for entry level; internship/co-op may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality for compliance with established standards.
• Perform inspections and non-destructive testing as appropriate.
• Create, edit, and maintain SOPs for laboratory tasks and processes.
• Analyze data and prepare reports, statements, and projections.
• Correspond with customers and internal stakeholders regarding quality matters.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment and 5S3R standards.
