Job summary

Jenoptik is seeking a Quality Engineer Level 1 in Jupiter, FL to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems within the manufacturing environment.

Role involves data analysis, CAPA, and root cause investigation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards. Candidates should have 3–5 years in QA/QC and be proficient with inspection tools.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years’ experience in QA/QC for support of design transfer, manufacturing and product release activities.
• Excellent understanding of quality tools and methods for quality control and improvement.
• Must be able to use inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators) to measure dimensions.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485, IATF16949, AS9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and/or final quality control verification using MIT equipment.
• Provide back-up support for QA Inspection/Metrology functions (Calibration control).
• Act as key quality representative in material review and supplier quality control.
• Collect, record and present quality control data to production and test teams.
• Implement and maintain KPI metrics in support of Quality G & O’s.
• Support the introduction of new products, processes and improvements in production, inspection and test operations.
