Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Engineer I to analyze in-process, test, and field data, and to support companywide QC efforts. You will assist with flow charts, FMEA, control plans, and process capability studies, partnering with Manufacturing and Engineering to drive improvements.

You will also contribute to warranty/safety analyses, Six Sigma initiatives, and documentation of results, ensuring high-quality products and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, science, statistics, or mathematics.
• Equivalent level of education, training and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and CI to identify product quality problems.
• Gather and analyze data to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop flow charts, FMEA’s, and control plans for processes.
• Support process capability analysis and basic control methods across processes.
• Participate in Six Sigma teams and maintain quality metrics.
• Produce warranty, product safety, and MSA analyses and reports.
