Job summary

Phoenix-Logistics,-LL is seeking a Quality Engineer to collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure all products meet specifications and government standards. You will drive audits, analyze data, and support supplier quality initiatives to reduce defects and improve processes.

You will perform root-cause analyses, coordinate corrective actions, and assist with disposition and MRB activities while maintaining thorough quality records across supplier and internal

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or logistics.
  • 1-3 years' experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
  • Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills.
  • Working knowledge of quality control standards and government compliance.
  • Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
  • Skilled in the use of measuring equipment such as scales, calipers, micrometers, hand tools.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision with defined results and timelines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional teams in executing and reporting quality improvement projects.
  • Support Quality Inspectors to ensure compliance with customer requirements and QMS.
  • Perform Quality Audits and prepare audit reports.
  • Analyze quality performance using statistical methods and identify trends.
  • Review incoming supplies and products for defects and quality.
  • Conduct tests and assessments to identify quality issues.
  • Manage suppliers' performance and conduct supplier audits.
  • Ensure timely resolution of supplier failures and corrective actions.
  • Maintain reports on supplier quality, including defect rates.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
  • Assist disposition through failure analysis and MRB involvement.
  • Assist with manufacturing scrap performance evaluation and management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
