Our iconic global brands include Caesars Palace, The Flamingo, The Row, Horseshoe, Harrah’s, Paris, Nobu Hotel, and more.

Based in Las Vegas or Remote, and reporting to the Director of Digital Hospitality Engineering. This role is responsible for the implementation of the Caesars Entertainment Quality Strategy, which includes: 1) Test Automation; 2) CI/CD; 3) Code Review; 4) TDD/BDD; 5) Accessibility; 6) Quality Culture.

Quality Engineering is more than just test automation; it’s about championing an approach aimed at integrating quality best practices into every facet of software development. Our Quality Engineers will promote a quality-first culture, encouraging developers to take responsibility for their code quality and collaborate across teams.

Our Quality Engineers are experienced software engineers responsible for designing and implementing quality strategies, leading testing efforts, and mentoring others.

They will also participate in our Engineering community of practice, engaging in discussions, learning, and sharing knowledge.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Design testable and modular systems in collaboration with Architects and Project Leads
2. Define clear test acceptance criteria and plans with Product Owners
3. Implement tests within CI/CD pipelines
4. Identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement
5. Lead the design and support of various testing suites and tools
6. Promote best practices and mentor team members on quality issues
7. Develop and own team test strategies with feedback mechanisms
8. Analyze trends and resolve complex technical problems
9. Ensure timely delivery of development work aligned with technical vision
10. Produce clear quality reports for technical and non-technical audiences
11. Contribute to overall customer journey quality and insights
12. Create comprehensive documentation for solutions
13. Assist Product teams in improving commercial opportunities and managing risks
14. Mentor peers and junior team members

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional software development
• 3+ years experience with React Native and JavaScript
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
• Hands-on experience with testing tools like Playwright, Appium, Storybook, Browserstack, Postman, Cucumber, Jest, Vitest
• Understanding of CI technologies such as GitHub/GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of modern testing patterns including performance and security testing
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive with a curious personality

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with MarTech tools, headless CMS, PIM, monitoring tools, and Agile teams
• Familiarity with digital product techniques like User Story Mapping and Personas
